Sam plays a Tiny Desk Concert at NPR
Sam Phillips braved a recent east coast heat wave and turned the heat up even higher at the steamy NPR offices in Washington DC. See and hear the Tiny Desk Concert at Bob Boilen’s desk.

Dear Sam: My wife and I saw last saturday this performance… so thrilling! You look so strong, warming and your voice is incredible… Opening with “Sister Rosetta Goes Before Us” was a great gift.
Now I am buying your new album by amazon. In Mexico City is not possible to find it…
We send you greetings and our love.

I suggest watching the concert at this part of the NPR site.

you get a choice to make the video bigger and it looks better that way.
Thanks Sam and thanks EriK
P.S. the air conditioning works now, so it’s safe to return!
